We really were excited to film our first wedding at Marleybrook House. The place is like a breath of fresh air as far as wedding venues go and completely different to anywhere we had been before. Yesterday we were at High Rocks for Jenny & Chris’s wedding which we enjoyed so much. It was also great to see Nicola from Wedding Makeup by Nicola and meet Sam Yardley Photography, who was absolutely fantastic to work alongside. Here’s a little glimmer of Jenny & Chris’s day.
The world would be a better place if every wedding had personal vows… At the beginning of the year we were treated to the most amazing, meaningful and emotional ceremony at the Hilltop Hotel. Here is a little glimpse of Jess & Adam’s day.

This was also the first ever wedding that we got to capture the first look (when the birde and groom meet ‘privatly’ before the ceremony). The first look is a common feature of weddings in the United States, but doesnt happen too often in the U.K. However, my prediction is that within the next few years this will be much more popular in this country — with so many brides using pinterest for inspiration it’s almost inevitable. Personally, I think the first look is awesome. It creates a fantastic moment for us storytellers to capture.
