Iceland is such a magical place filled with some of nature’s most beautiful gifts. Here is a little video we put together of an elopement inspiration shoot that follows Paris & Joe across the Icelandic landscape. It was amazing to be a part of this project and take in some amazing scenes such at skogafoss waterfall, the black beach at Vik and the Northern Lights. It would be a dream to film a wedding in Iceland someday. Thanks to Rebecca Douglas for coordinating the whole thing. The shoot was also recently featured on Rock My Wedding. We really were excited to film our first wedding at Marleybrook House. The place is like a breath of fresh air as far as wedding venues go and completely different to anywhere we had been before. Although we were fortunate enough to have already worked at Marleybrook to film a styled shoot, it’s never quite the same as capturing a real wedding. Hannah & Nathan’s day was a laid back yet fun filled affair whose guests were entertained to a Vintage Fayre. How cool is that? A vintage fayre at a wedding! It almost felt like being at a wedding and a village fete all rolled in to one. We’ve put together a little 3 minute piece to give you a feel for Nathan and Hannah’s day.
This wedding had so many beautiful things about it. We feel so fortunate that Verity and Liam asked us to tell the story of their love. This is a short piece I am extremely proud of and have watched so many times. Liam’s speech was pure and straight from the heart. I suppose what can be learned from what he is telling Verity is that the simple things in any relationship are the most important.
It was a lovely touch from Verity’s two sisters to read out ‘The Lovely Love Story’ by Edward Monkton. This reading holds so much innocence. Click ‘Continue Reading’ at the bottom of the page to see the whole reading.
